We often discuss the Origins of our Consciousness as being part of the Ultimate Consciousness that engulfs this universe. This is the ONE GOD or Prime Creator, who is the ALL
This awareness is in everything according to most Ancient Scripts, and is now being re-discovered through Quantum Studies.
This article is the exploration into the Universal Mind.
Ancient Awareness of the One Consciousness.
This is an excerpt of The Secret Book of John describing the Ultimate Consciousness.
(The Apocryphon of John - The Secret Revelation of John) The Nag Hammadi Codices
The Inexpressible One...
The One rules all. Nothing has authority over it. It is the God. It is Father of everything, Holy One, The invisible one over everything.
It is uncontaminated Pure light no eye can bear to look within.
The One is the Invisible Spirit. It is not right to think of it as a God or as like God. It is more than just God.
Nothing is above it. Nothing rules it. Since everything exists within it, It does not exist within anything. Since it is not dependent on anything, It is eternal.
It is absolutely complete and so needs nothing.
It is utterly perfect Light.
The One is without boundaries, Nothing exists outside of it to border it.
The One cannot be investigated, Nothing exists apart from it to investigate it.
The One cannot be measure, Nothing exists external to it to measure it.
The One cannot be seen. For no one can envision it.
The One is eternal, For it exists forever.
The One is inconceivable, For no one can comprehend it.
The One is indescribable, For no one can put any words to it.
The One is infinite light, Purity, Holiness, Stainless,
The One is incomprehensible, Perfectly free from corruption.
Not “perfect”,
Not “blessed”,
Not “divine”,
But superior to such concepts.
Neither physical nor unphysical. Neither immense nor infinitesimal. It is impossible to specify in quantity or quality, For it is beyond knowledge.
The One is not a being among other beings, It is vastly superior, But it is not “superior.”
It is outside of realms of being and time, For whatever is within realms of being was created. And whatever is within time had time allotted to it.
The One receives nothing from anything. It simply apprehends itself in its own perfect light.
The One is majestic. The One is measureless majesty. Chief of all Realms. Producing all realms.
Light.
Producing light.
Life.
Producing life.
Blessedness.
Producing blessedness.
Knowledge.
Producing knowledge.
Good.
Producing goodness.
Mercy.
Producing mercy.
Generous.
Producing generosity.
It does not “possess” these things. It gives forth light beyond measure, beyond comprehension.

Modern Exploration of Consciousness
Does Consciousness Exist Outside of the Brain?
According to the decades-long research of Dr. Peter Fenwick, a highly regarded neuropsychiatrist who has been studying the human brain, consciousness, and the phenomenon of near death experience (NDE) for 50 years, this view is incorrect. Despite initially being highly incredulous of NDEs and related phenomena, Fenwick now believes his extensive research suggests that consciousness persists after death. In fact, Fenwick believes that consciousness actually exists independently and outside of the brain as an inherent property of the universe itself like dark matter and dark energy or gravity.
Hence, in Fenwick’s view, the brain does not create or produce consciousness; rather, it filters it. As odd as this idea might seem at first, there are some analogies that bring the concept into sharper focus. For example, the eye filters and interprets only a very small sliver of the electromagnetic spectrum and the ear registers only a narrow range of sonic frequencies. Similarly, according to Fenwick, the brain filters and perceives only a tiny part of the cosmos’ intrinsic “consciousness.”

Exploring Our Conscious Universe
“It was not possible to formulate the laws of quantum mechanics in a fully consistent way without reference to consciousness.”
– Eugene Wigner, theoretical physicist and mathematician. He received a share of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1963.
Below is a discussion about consciousness, what it is, and where it is, by Deepak Chopra.

Buddhists & Leading Neuroscientists Agree: “Consciousness Is Everywhere”
Scientists and Buddhists from all over the world are starting to see the similarities between their disciplines, and the research which is emerging as a result is truly exciting. A classic example of a scientist diving into ancient wisdom is Nikola Tesla, whose work was heavily influenced by Vedic philosophy. You can read more about that here.
From health, consciousness, and environment, to politics and quantum physics, Russel Brand is committed to raising social awareness and lifting the veil off of issues that are rarely discussed in mainstream media. If you are reading this Russel, thank you and keep up the good work.
In the video below, Russel interviews world renowned quantum physicist Dr. John Hagelin

Quantum Research
New Study Proves Our Brains are Intricately Connected to the Universe at the Quantum Level
At a fundamental level, your brain and the fabric of the universe operate in much the same way according to a recent meta-study published by world-renowned consciousness researchers Stuart Hameroff and Roger Penrose [Hameroff and Penrose (2013)].
Their theory is based off findings that quantum vibrations occur in microtubules in the brain (discovered by Anirban Bandyopadhyay). These microtubules form the basic structure of cells in our neurons, which are responsible for a wide range of consciousness-related phenomena such as the transmission of thoughts, nerve impulses, and the operation of the five senses, among other things.
The current quantum-level understanding of reality suggests that these same ‘quantum vibrations’ makeup the most fundamental structure of the universe — in essence, they are the fabric of reality itself. This implies a very real and direct connection between the brain, human consciousness and the existence of the Universe — that they are fundamentally inseparable at the quantum level.

The idea that everything from spoons to stones is conscious is gaining academic credibility
Consciousness permeates reality. Rather than being just a unique feature of human subjective experience, it’s the foundation of the universe, present in every particle and all physical matter.
This sounds like easily-dismissible bunkum, but as traditional attempts to explain consciousness continue to fail, the “panpsychist” view is increasingly being taken seriously by credible philosophers, neuroscientists, and physicists, including figures such as neuroscientist Christof Koch and physicist Roger Penrose.
Panpsychism
The doctrine or belief that everything material, however small, has an element of individual consciousness.
Panpsychism is the view that all things have a mind or a mind-like quality. The word itself was coined by the Italian philosopher Francesco Patrizi in the sixteenth century, and derives from the two Greek words pan (all) and psyche (soul or mind). This definition is quite general, and raises two immediate questions: (1) What does one mean by “all things”? (2) What does one mean by “mind”? On the first question, some philosophers have argued that literally every object in the universe, every part of every object, and every system of objects possesses some mind-like quality. Other philosophers have been more restrictive, arguing that only certain broad classes of things possess mind (in which case one is perhaps not a true panpsychist), or that, at least, the smallest parts of things—such as atoms—possess mind. (Source)
In philosophy, panpsychism is the view that consciousness, mind or soul (psyche) is a universal and primordial feature of all things. Panpsychists see themselves as minds in a world of minds
It’s one of the oldest philosophies in history with traces of it found in pre-Socratic greek philosophy. Popular in the 19th century, panpsychist fell out of favor with mainstream philosophers with the rise of logical positivism. But as we have been seeing exponential growth in computing and advancements in artificial intelligence, questions surrounding consciousness and the way it is defined have brought back panpsychism, or a least a version of it, in essayists’ and researchers’ minds.
