Those of us who are focused on the enhancing of spiritual growth, tend to experience being awakened very early in the morning. There is a real reason for this phenomenon. It is when you become aligned with Nature and the forces of this Universe, that this begins to take place. It is called the Time of Brahma muhurta by the Ancients.
Brahma muhurta (time of Brahma) is a period one and a half hours before sunrise or more precisely, 1 hour and 36 minutes before sunrise. Literally meaning "The Creator's Hour", it is traditionally the penultimate phase or muhurta of the night and is considered an auspicious time for all practices of yoga and most appropriate for meditation, worship, or any other religious practice. Spiritual activities performed early in the morning have a greater effect than in any other part of the day. Each muhurta lasts 48 minutes, and therefore the Brahma muhurta begins 1 hour and 36 minutes before sunrise and ends 48 minutes before sunrise.
What Happens During Brahma Muhurta?
"The nature of the planet’s relationship with the sun and moon is such that certain physiological changes happen in the human system at this time. Medical science has even found that the waste material in your body, such as your urine, for example, has certain qualities at that time which it does not have at any other time of the day.
There is substantial research into this. The entire body is in a certain conducive atmosphere, and there is a natural production of what is called melatonin, which is a secretion of the pineal gland. If you are awakened during this time, you should use this time for more in-depth, spiritual work. Plus, any meditation or other religious practices done during this time are amplified greatly.

We are not an individual existence, so, when we become aligned with this creation, things will happen, and this begins to change our lives. The universal Time of Brahma is just one of those many things that will physically begin to take place.
