The Biggest Deception in Human History ~ Exploring Gnosis

For many thousands of years, Humanity has been actively led astray, through inherited beliefs and succumbing to fear of what if? They have been manipulated into a very deceptive path. I wish to ask that you be honest with yourself. What I offer now can help you make the biggest decision of your life.
A very large group of humanity claims to be Christians. I too was born and raised within the Baptist belief. However, while making this claim, they never really look outside of that box; they are taught not to ask questions about their belief. You are taught to just believe it; to ask anything or to question is sin.
This is because the answer has the potential to unravel centuries of inherited belief.
As Christians, most have never really read the Bible they hold so dear. Most never truly reed the Old Testament from beginning to end without assuming that the being speaking throughout its pages is the Supreme God of all existence.
The God you were told about. The God your pastor described. It is not the same God that is revealed by his own words and actions.
And if they have honestly read the Bible, and are honest with yourself, many other questions naturally arises. How can a perfect God demand rivers of blood? How can unconditional Love command genocide? How can the Creator of all life delight in sacrifice? How can Infinite Compassion order entire cities to be destroyed, including women, children, and animals? How can the source of all goodness create disease, famine, suffering, and fear as instruments of obedience? How can the Father of all souls repeatedly say, "Fear me"?
Here are several texts describing what I am referring to. These are just a very few of the Bible verses that describe a being that everyone calls God. Even making claims that all religions really worship this same God.
"Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine..."
~ Exodus 19:5. (Voice of the Demiurge) (showing favoritism and Selfishness).
“Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: ‘If any of you—whether an Israelite or a foreigner residing in Israel—presents a gift for a burnt offering to the Lord, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, you must present a male without defect from the cattle, sheep or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf. Do not bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.
~ Leviticus 22:18-20. (Rules for sacrifice offered to the Demiurge)
The Lord said to Moses, “Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people.”
So Moses said to the people, “Arm some of your men to go to war against the Midianites so that they may carry out the Lord’s vengeance on them. Send into battle a thousand men from each of the tribes of Israel.”
~ Numbers 31, 1-4. (Command of the Demiurge, Demanding War and Vengeance).
However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—as the Lord your God has commanded you.
~ Deuteronomy 20:16-17. (Command of the Demiurge, Telling Israel to kill Many Nations).
"O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed, happy the one who repays you as you have served us! Happy the one who takes and dashes your little ones against the rock!..."
Psalm 137:8-9. (From Ancient songs and prayers of Israel)
"Say to them: ‘This is the food offering you are to present to the Lord: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day. Offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight..."

The Festival of Tabernacles.
“‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. Celebrate a festival to the Lord for seven days. Present as an aroma pleasing to the Lord a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of thirteen young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.
Numbers 29, 12-13. (Command of the Demiurge, demanding sacrifice as a ritual).
To question is not rebellion.
To question means you are becoming conscious.
Humanity is beginning to wake-up, realizing that they have been lied to, for centuries.
Throughout history, countless people have felt uncomfortable reading these passages. Many quietly wondered whether the actions described truly reflected the highest expression of Divine Love. Yet those questions were often answered with a familiar response: "God's ways are higher than ours," or Don't question; just obey.
But what if there is another possibility?
What if the ancient early Christians, known as the Gnostics, were asking the very questions that so many people still ask today?
The Gnostics proposed a radically different understanding of Scripture. In their writings, discovered in collections such as the Nag Hammadi Library, they described the existence of an unknowable and transcendent Source, beyond all worlds. A God beyond form, beyond violence, beyond fear, beyond judgment.
"He is the immeasurable light, which is pure, holy and immaculate. He is ineffable, being perfect in incorruptibility. He is not in perfection, nor in blessedness, nor in divinity, but he is far superior. He is not corporeal nor is he incorporeal. He is neither large nor is he small. There is no way to say 'What is his quantity?' or 'What is his quality?', for no one can know him. He is not someone among other beings; rather, he is far superior. Not that he is simply superior, but his essence does not partake in the aeons nor in time. For he who partakes in an aeon was first prepared. Time was not allotted to him, since he does not receive anything from another, for it would be received on loan. For he who precedes another does not lack, that he may receive from him..."

According to this worldview, the material universe was fashioned not by the Highest God but by an ignorant and arrogant creator often called the Demiurge or Yaldabaoth.
This being believed himself to be the only God because he could not perceive the Infinite Light beyond himself.
This creator declares, "I am God, and there is no other beside me."
Rather than viewing this statement as proof of ultimate divinity, Gnostic teachers interpreted it as evidence of profound ignorance.
To them, a truly Infinite God would never need to proclaim His own superiority.
Infinite Light simply is.
"I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained. Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there..."

The Demiurge, however, governs through power, hierarchy, fear, and control.
Within this framework, the disturbing passages of the Old Testament take on an entirely different meaning. They are no longer understood as revealing the nature of the Supreme God but rather the character of a lesser ruler who mistakes authority for divinity.
Whether one accepts this interpretation or not, it raises a profound theological question:
If a being repeatedly demands sacrifice, commands violence, and rules through fear, what does that reveal about the being?
Would those actions reflect perfect Love?
Or something else?
The earliest Gnostic teachers believed that humanity carries within itself a divine spark originating not from the creator of the material world but from the transcendent Source beyond it. Their path was therefore not one of blind obedience but of awakening—of discovering the Light already present within.
"The lamp of the body is the mind. As for what is within you, let it be harmonious... let your light shine!..."
~ The Dialogue of the Savior, Nag Hammadi Codex III.
This message stood in sharp contrast to systems centered on fear, external authority, and unquestioning submission.
As Christianity developed in the second, third, and fourth centuries, intense theological disagreements emerged between communities that would later be called orthodox and those labeled Gnostic. Church leaders regarded many Gnostic teachings as dangerous and incompatible with what they believed to be the apostolic faith. Gnostic writings gradually disappeared from circulation, and many survived only because they were hidden away, such as the manuscripts discovered near Nag Hammadi in Egypt in 1945.
From a Gnostic perspective, this was more than a disagreement over doctrine. It represented a struggle between two radically different visions of the Divine.
One emphasized authority, institutional structure, and established doctrine.
The other emphasized inner knowledge—gnosis—direct experience of the Divine, and the awakening of the soul. The question is not merely historical. It remains alive today.
Many people inherit beliefs without ever examining the texts for themselves. They are taught what to believe before they are encouraged to ask why they believe it. But every sincere seeker eventually arrives at a crossroads.
Can fear produce genuine love?
Can violence reveal perfect compassion?
Can endless sacrifice express infinite mercy?
Can truth ever require coercion?
These questions are not attacks upon faith. They are invitations to deeper reflection.
From the Gnostic perspective, the true God does not compete for worship. The true God does not threaten. The true God does not delight in blood. The true God does not require violence to prove authority.
Instead, the Highest Source radiates Light continuously, inviting every soul toward wisdom, compassion, and freedom.
"There is a light that shines beyond all things on earth, beyond us all, beyond the heavens, beyond the highest, the very highest heavens. This is the light that shines in our heart..."
~ Chandogya Upanishad. 3. 13. 7.
This understanding also reshapes how one reads the teachings attributed to Yeshua.
Many Gnostic Christians saw him not as confirming every action of the Old Testament deity but as revealing the transcendent Father unknown to the world—a God of boundless Love whose kingdom is discovered within rather than imposed from without.
In that view, salvation is not earned through fear or sacrifice but through awakening to one's relationship with the Divine Light.
Whether one agrees with these ideas or rejects them, history shows that the diversity of early Christian thought was far greater than many realize. The debates over the nature of God, creation, salvation, and authority were real and deeply consequential.
The rediscovery of ancient Gnostic writings has allowed modern readers to encounter voices that were absent from the traditional biblical canon for many centuries.
These texts do not compel belief. They invite inquiry. Perhaps that is why they continue to provoke such strong reactions.
Every generation must decide whether to inherit answers or to wrestle with the questions anew.
If there is one lesson that emerges from the Gnostic tradition, it is this:
Do not fear asking difficult questions. Read the texts yourself. Compare actions with principles.
Compare fear with love. Compare domination with compassion. Then ask yourself a final question.
If the highest God is truly Infinite Love, would Infinite Love ever need to be feared?
Or would perfect Love invite humanity into freedom rather than compel it through terror?
For the Gnostic seeker, this is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning. The path of gnosis has never demanded blind belief. It has always asked something much more challenging:
Know the Light within yourself.
